Mr. Milind Chaphekar, a B E (Mech) by qualification, is in plumbing profession for last 20 years. He made all concerned aware of the need of Plumbing Design in any type of constructions such as Hotels, Banglows, Hospitals , Residential and Commercial Complexes in and around Pune. He has Introduced and popularized Hydro Pneumatic systems and its applications for pressurized supply removing the concept of OH Tank and as a Surge Suppressor. Developed Automation of Pumping Systems in Complexes. The new concept of Special Non Metallic Pipes , Valves in plumbing was introduced and a complete setup for Design ,Installation and Maintenance was offered to Customers which resulted in breaking the Resistance of Market for Non Metallic Material. Focused on End Solutions rather than individual items and services. Introduced new technology that of Air Admittance Valves, siphonic drainage in Indian Market. He has been in key role for completion of many famous projects. Magarpatta City, DSK Vshwa, Dindoshi Project, Rohan Group etc. are some of them to name. He is the Vice President of Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) - Pune Chapter and also member of National Executive Committee of IPA. As a Mechanical Engineer in Cummins India Mr. Chaphekar got the exposure to Hydraulic Systems and applications for Engine Systems. The subject got him interested in looking at all the systems from Basic Hydraulics Principles and then developing those suitable to application. Further exposure at Warde Brothers also was useful to see the same principles working in the water supply , pumping and water treatment applications.. Here he saw that while doing the Coivil Engineering work at sites some Mech Engineering principles are ignored inadvertently. This aspect dragged him to work for the Plumbing Line and ensuring that these aspects are taken care in the planning stage. And here he started his own Consultancy in the Plumbing Line.
