On the cloudy evening of Saturday 8th August 2009, at the lush
green lawns of Hotel Clarks Amer Pool Side, IPA Jaipur Chapter was celebrating its success of adding one more milestone; one more successful seminar; this time on “Energy Efficient Pumping Systems”.

It succeeded in making the IPA platform getting recognized as a meeting and interacting place among builders, architects, design engineers, plumbers and the trade suppliers. The seminar witnessed 150 dignitaries from the target group.

Builders for the first time were listening to the importance of positive suction head, surface frictional impact on energy consumption and correct selection of the pipe diameter. The event was sponsored by Grundfos Pumps and Kirloskar Brothers Limited. Mr. Gaurav Mathur of Grundfos and Mr. Nirmal Tiwari of Kirloskar Brothers Limited made technical presentations on pump and pressure boosting system basics. The presentations were lucidly explained so that even the non- technical individual could comprehend and gain knowledge from them. The audience were given CDs of the presentations, which was sponsored by M/s Niloy Super Solar, Jaipur.

IPA Jaipur Chapter Chairman, Mr. Sudhir Mathur and his team did a great job of fulfilling the core objective of IPA of bringing together the target mass and the competent technical faculty to disseminate the current industry trends for the benefit of society
