Ar. Oscar Concessao, one of the leading architects of India and the recipient of the President of India’s award for two consecutive years, was invited as Guest Speaker for the IPA Chennai Chapter’s meeting scheduled on 30th January, 2008 at The Residency. A detailed technical presentation was made by him on ‘Green Plumbing’ and the direct relevance that it has in efficient plumbing installations. Some of the significant features, including technologies and approaches for saving precious energy and natural resources were shared with the members by Ar. Concessao.

Ar. Oscar Concessao’s presentation was followed by a product presentation by Mr. Ravi Nindwani of M/s. Kohler, one of the leading global manufacturers of sanitaryware.

After conclusion of both the presentations, the members interacted amongst themselves over Cocktails & Dinnder which was sponsored by M/s FCML and Kohler. The members enjoyed the IPA platform as a perfect forum for networking and knowledge sharing with the professionals and experts from the building services industry.
